Product Quality Engineer

Product Quality Engineer role focused on end-to-end supplier quality control for consumer products, including incoming inspection, assembly, testing, and field returns. Requires collaboration with internal teams and suppliers, driving robust solutions for quality issues, performing audits, and communicating performance summaries. Experience with AIML on quality control is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Focus on specific products made by Apple’s manufacturing partners. Lead supplier's performance through objective measurements of IQC/IPQC/OQC and field returns.
  2. Lead quality issues to ensure robust solution and closure related to Incoming, Assembly, Test, Pack, EUT/ORT and Field
  3. Drive consistent execution of supplier quality readiness in development, ramp, and sustaining phases; Perform audits at the manufacturing partners to ensure compliance.
  4. Continuously explore improvements of the quality management process, and drive to deliver outstanding product quality and reliability.
  5. Communicate a summary of performance and corrective actions to management. Highlight key issues and present options for solution to the cross-functional and executive team.
