Product Quality Manager - Mission Critical

Crusoe is an AI infrastructure company focused on accelerating energy and intelligence. This role is for a Product Quality Manager responsible for the quality lifecycle of their manufactured products, including Modular Data Centers and Power Distribution units. The role involves strategic leadership, team management, quality systems, and compliance with industry standards.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and execute a comprehensive product quality vision and long-term strategy aligned with organizational goals, focusing on the scalable production of Mobile Data Centers and Power Distribution units.
  2. Direct and mentor the Receiving and Production QC inspection teams, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring consistent application of inspection standards across all shifts.
  3. Manage and evolve the facility’s Quality Management System (QMS), implementing robust incoming material reviews, CAPA processes, and traceability protocols to enable effective root cause analysis.
  4. Serve as the technical authority for compliance with ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements (such as UL 891 and UL 9540); manage the facility’s Calibration Program for all specialized testing equipment and tooling.
  5. Partner with Procurement, Engineering, and Operations to ensure all building products meet technical specifications during volume ramps and resolve systemic process breakdowns or design-to-build conflicts.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in product quality within a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment
  • 2+ years in a leadership role managing team performance and development
  • Advanced understanding of build quality best practices
  • structural/electrical inspection techniques

  • Proven experience developing and implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS)
