Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Product Sourcing Engineer to drive strategic supply network development and cost management for product hardware across its lifecycle. This role involves supplier selection, collaboration with strategic suppliers on product development, BOM management, CAPEX management, value-stream mapping, BOM risk assessment, component qualification, complexity reduction, cost engineering, and managing ad-hoc cost issues. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field, with at least 3 years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or design of electronics/mechanical devices, and domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO analysis.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct supplier selection for a specific product, leveraging our approved supplier list
  2. Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development via activities such as:
  3. Drive the development and consolidation of a manufacturing BOM, working with Quality & Manufacturing, to ramp production internally and with our suppliers with high flexibility
  4. Manage the CAPEX throughout NPI
  5. Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility
