Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Product Sourcing Engineer to drive strategic supply network development and cost management for their product hardware. This role involves collaborating with suppliers and internal teams (engineering, quality, manufacturing) throughout the product lifecycle, from concept scoping and design development to BOM management, CAPEX, value-stream mapping, risk assessment, component qualification, complexity reduction, and cost engineering. The goal is to optimize supply chains, reduce costs, and ensure timely production of advanced military systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct supplier selection for a specific product, leveraging our approved supplier list
  2. Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development via activities such as:
  3. Drive the development and consolidation of a manufacturing BOM, working with Quality & Manufacturing, to ramp production internally and with our suppliers with high flexibility
  4. Manage the CAPEX throughout NPI
  5. Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility

What the JD emphasized

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field

  • Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component & product level
