What you'd actually do

  1. Perform detailed technical due diligence to evaluate project feasibility and identify design, construction, budget, schedule, contractual, and operating risks, including preparation of formal technical memoranda
  2. Review project design documents, technical specifications, schedules, and construction methodologies for reasonableness and compliance with industry standards
  3. Validate technical and economic assumptions in financial models and collaborate with deal teams to develop and review sensitivity analyses
  4. Coordinate with and manage work performed by independent engineering and technical consulting firms
  5. Monitor the technical performance of portfolio assets (e.g., generation, availability, O&M expenses, and major technical issues)

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years minimum experience in energy storage, engineering design, construction management, operations, owner’s engineering and or technical consulting for energy or infrastructure assets
  • Strong understanding of project development, construction, and operational risks across renewable energy and related infrastructure sectors
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple transactions or workstreams simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proven client and stakeholder management capabilities

Nice to have

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (electrical preferred; mechanical, power or renewable energy systems, or other energy‑related disciplines acceptable)
  • Energy Storage experience and or Data Center experience is a plus
