This role is a Principal Product Strategy and Operations role within Google Cloud AI, focusing on the transition to agentic ecosystems and generative AI. The individual will partner with VP leadership to translate AI infrastructure needs into business road maps and go-to-market strategies, manage strategic analysis for AI strategy, and design platforms that codify domain knowledge into agent systems. While the role involves strategy and operations for AI products, the core craft is not building AI models or systems directly, but rather enabling their commercialization and strategic direction.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage strategic analysis that informs Google Cloud’s AI strategy. Identify the impacts of growth through Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and solution partners. Analyze product opportunity size and identify business growth through customer cohort analysis.
  2. Work with Vice President (VP) leaders to support day-to-day decision making through timely analysis and drive alignment.
  3. Lead the strategic pivot from legacy cloud operations to an AI-native posture, identifying high-impact AI-ification opportunities.
  4. Design platforms that codify domain knowledge into agent systems, enabling stakeholders to interact with data.

Skills

Required

  • 15 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • Experience analyzing data and managing cross-functional programs or projects.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience with advanced SQL, Python, and BigQuery.
  • Understanding of enterprise software business models.
  • Ability to identify problems, design projects to address, execute with little guidance, and guide the work of more junior team members.
  • Ability to ramp up quickly on a wide range of topics from accounting business recognition to AI/ML applications.
  • Ability to independently drive complex projects with multiple executive stakeholders to successful completion.
