John Deere is seeking a Product Support Specialist for Tractors in Australia. This remote role involves leading product support plans, investigating and resolving complex technical issues, analyzing data from telematics and warranty, supporting root cause analysis, providing in-field optimization and technical support to dealers and customers, and delivering technical training. The ideal candidate has strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience resolving complex issues in field environments, and the ability to use data to identify root causes. Experience with connected machines, telematics, and agricultural machinery is desired.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and execute product support plans aligned to your product responsibilities
  2. Investigate and resolve complex product issues beyond standard support channels (DTAC)
  3. Analyse data from sources such as telematics, warranty, and field reports to identify trends and emerging issues
  4. Support root cause analysis and contribute to corrective actions, including NCCA and product improvement programs
  5. Provide in-field optimisation and technical support to dealers and customers

Skills

Required

  • Strong technical troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems
  • Proven ability to resolve complex product or equipment issues in field environments
  • Ability to use data (e.g. telematics, warranty, field insights) to identify root causes and improve outcomes
  • Confident communicator with customers, dealers, and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced, field-based role

Nice to have

  • Experience with connected machines, telematics, or digital diagnostic tools
  • Exposure to product improvement and root cause processes (e.g. NCCA, PIPs)
  • Experience supporting agricultural machinery, tractors, harvesting equipment or related agricultural products.
  • Experience delivering technical training or coaching
  • Exposure to working across global or cross-functional teams
