What you'd actually do

  1. Work with data science SMEs to develop and execute the overall roadmap for gDATA's growing portfolio of data products (i.e. ML classification and prediction models, LLM powered insights engines).
  2. Work with Management to determine the data science and engineering resource allocation plan to support business as usual (BAU) maintenance and roadmap execution.
  3. Lead communications between data science subject matter experts (SMEs), engineering partners, and broader business stakeholders regarding data infrastructure stability and planned changes.
  4. Lead a governance structure that will ensure gDATA's data products leverage the latest tech stack, conform to best practices, and to meet the needs of business stakeholders.
  5. Identify opportunities to better leverage AI within the data product portfolio to improve quality and efficiency.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience in data products and technologies such as SQL, data architecture and data governance.

Nice to have

  • Experience identifying business needs, and defining or building data solutions to address business needs in a customer service environment.
  • Experience using AI technologies to augment, improve or automate the development process.
  • Ability to collaborate, build consensus, and drive technical decisions with complex cross-functional stakeholder groups, involving both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent technical leadership, project management, investigative problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
