Product Workload Finance Analyst

This role focuses on financial analysis for product workloads, aiming to improve understanding and decision-making for profitable business growth. The analyst will develop financial models, drive revenue and margin insights, own pricing strategy, partner with Product and Sales, and use AI tools to accelerate insight discovery and automate reporting. The role requires strong financial and analytical skills, experience in SaaS/Cloud environments, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop & Maintain Financial Models: Build and iterate on financial models that track both revenue and cost drivers, enabling accurate forecasting and real-time visibility into workload contribution margins.
  2. Drive Revenue & Margin Insights: Analyze historical and forward-looking trends for revenue, COGS, and margin to provide actionable recommendations that influence pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  3. Drive Pricing Strategy Decisions: Own and evolve pricing strategy across products and workloads by analyzing usage patterns, customer segments, and willingness to pay.
  4. Partner with PMs and Sales: Collaborate with Engineering, Product Managers and Sales to evaluate new product features or market opportunities.
  5. Data-driven Insights(SQL): Find the "why" behind the numbers.
