This role is for a Production and Inventory Coordinator at Boeing, responsible for managing the flow of materials in a manufacturing environment, updating systems, and ensuring parts availability to support production activities. It requires experience in materials planning, inventory control, and manufacturing within the aerospace sector.

What you'd actually do

  1. Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc.
  2. Monitors and analyzes work in process
  3. Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems
  4. Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to ensure parts availability
  5. Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy

Skills

Required

  • 1+ years of experience in the materials planning or inventory control process role in a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • 1+ years of Warehouse experience packaging and crating
  • 1+ years of experience in Inventory Management
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift

Nice to have

  • 3+ years combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in CMES systems/BESSY/Crib Masters/KITS.
  • 3+ years of experience with the ERPLN application
  • 3+ years of experience using lean manufacturing principles
  • 3+ years of experience operating a Forklift
  • 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving
