Production and Inventory Coordinator

This role is for a Production and Inventory Coordinator at Boeing. Responsibilities include processing and moving materials, monitoring work in progress, identifying and solving discrepancies, and coordinating with various functions to ensure production flow. It requires warehouse experience, forklift operation, and Microsoft Office proficiency. Preferred qualifications include experience with inventory management systems, aerospace/manufacturing, and lean principles.

What you'd actually do

  1. Processes and moves materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production
  2. Monitors work in process and communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability
  3. Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies with parts and materials
  4. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays
  5. Operates forklift, crane, and box truck as required

Skills

Required

  • Warehouse experience
  • Forklift operation
  • Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift
