What you'd actually do

  1. Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities within Production Engineering
  2. Develops and executes project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and establish operational goals
  3. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvement initiatives
  4. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  5. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.
  • 5+ years’ experience working in Production Engineering, Structures Design and/or Analytical Engineering or a combination of these experiences
