Production Operator

Operates and maintains manufacturing equipment in a production environment, ensuring adherence to SOPs, GMP, and safety standards. Prepares batches, performs changeovers, and conducts product inspections. Supports team members and escalates issues as needed. Requires a high school diploma and experience in manufacturing or production.

What you'd actually do

  1. Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety protocols at all times.
  3. Clean and maintain the work area to prevent contamination and/or mixing of products.
  4. Prepare and verify batch components prior to production.
  5. Manufacture products according to established procedures, GMP, documentation practices, and quality standards.

Skills

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards.

Nice to have

  • Industry experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience with: good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and production standards, Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), quality, and compliance standards, LEAN tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
