Production Security Coordinator - Expression of Interest

Seeking experienced Production Security Coordinators for film and episodic productions in the UK and EMEA. Responsibilities include overseeing production security, developing security plans, liaising with third parties and law enforcement, and managing security incidents. Requires experience in private sector security, law enforcement, military, or production environments, with strong operational and risk assessment capabilities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Head up the Security department on your assigned production.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with key production contacts (e.g. Production Supervisor, Production Coordinators and other Department heads). You will regularly contribute in meetings.
  3. Collaborate with the production to develop security plans and policies to mitigate identified risks, to include ongoing assessment and improvement of plans in alignment with Disney and industry production security standards.
  4. Evaluation of production locations including film locations, stages, sets, workshops and offices to establish risk profile. Subsequently develop risk-based mitigation measures to be implemented in security planning.
  5. Maintain awareness and track uncontrollable risks that could impact a given production (such as severe weather, social unrest, crime etc)

Skills

Required

  • Proven experience in private sector security, law enforcement, military or production environments
  • Management experience of both direct and indirect reports and/or vendors
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects
  • Exercising good judgment to solve unexpected situations in a timely manner
  • Resiliency, sound judgement and tact in dealing with business and corporate challenges
  • Strong operational capability with experience executing operational contingency plans
  • Working knowledge of physical security systems
  • Working knowledge of production security
