Production Supervisor

This role is for a Production Supervisor in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. The supervisor will lead daily operations, ensure safety and quality, meet production goals, train team members, monitor processes, diagnose issues, and collaborate with other departments. The role requires experience in a production environment and leadership skills, with a preference for experience in regulated industries.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and coordinate daily production activities to deliver safe, on-time manufacturing and meet output targets.
  2. Train, coach, and evaluate team members to build capability and maintain a safety-first culture.
  3. Monitor processes and production metrics to ensure quality standards and GMP compliance are met.
  4. Quickly diagnose production issues and drive corrective actions and improvements to reduce downtime and defects.
  5. Keep accurate production records and support Device History Record (DHR) reviews with QC and QA for compliant releases.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years in a production environment, including at least 1 year supervising a team.
  • Strong leadership, clear communication, and coaching skills; able to lead diverse teams with respect and fairness.
  • Solid knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality assurance (GMP experience helpful).
  • Proficiency with manufacturing systems (e.g., SAP, MES) and strong interpersonal skills; works well under pressure.
