Production Supervisor - Ink

Netflix Netflix · Big Tech · Los Angeles, CA +2 · Inkubator

This role supervises production for animated shorts and specials using experimental GenAI-native pipelines, managing schedules, tracking, and workflows that blend generative AI with traditional tools. The Production Supervisor ensures projects stay on budget and schedule, supports artists in using new workflows, and collaborates with tech teams to refine processes and tools for feature-quality content creation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Create and update workflow documents for your departments and shows, including documentation for GenAI/traditional hybrid processes and tools as they evolve
  2. Working with the Production Manager, create schedules and tracking tools to be used by production staff to monitor all aspects of crew deliverables; manage the crew’s day-to-day needs and resources within a GenAI-native pipeline
  3. Serve as a primary source of information for artists; have regular check-ins with artists (virtually and in-person), and build strong, trusting relationships with the crew
  4. Ensure artists understand how to use new workflows within the broader pipeline, escalating training or tooling needs to Production and Tech teams as appropriate
  5. Oversee reviews with show leadership; set meeting expectations and agenda; ensure reviews and approvals happen within the scheduled time
