This role is a Production Supervisor for Rear & Roof Systems at Ford, leading Design and Release Engineers. The primary focus is on delivering high-quality vehicle components (Roof & Back lite glass systems) on time and within budget, ensuring robust designs and failure mode avoidance through engineering disciplines like DFMEA and PFMEA. The role also involves managing TVM, warranty reduction, and leading teams to resolve durability, assembly, and functional issues. A Bachelor's degree in engineering and 7 years of PD Engineering experience are required.

  1. People Leader for Design and Release Engineers of FNA and FoM regions.
  2. Responsible for high quality (on-time, within budget, and meeting engineering and attribute requirements) delivery to GPDS milestones for Roof & Back lite glass systems.
  3. Absolute focus on delivery of robust designs and failure mode avoidance by applying engineering disciplines including DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, PDP and ES specifications.
  4. Deliver focused TVM, Warranty reduction, and benchmarking.
  5. Proactively lead teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering

  • Responsible to lead, review, and approve Moonroof, soft tops, backline glass to ensure delivery to component Engineering Specifications, and vehicle requirements.

  • Responsible to resolve all durability, assembly, and functional issues identified.

  • Proactively run your business to include agenda and issue management communication with immediate leadership.

  • Coach, technical mentor, and guide engineers and rotating FCG's within section.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required. Master’s degree in engineering or business preferred.

  • 7 years of PD Engineering experience, within structural commodities, including GPDS forward model programs and launch.

  • Thorough understanding of Rood Systems component designs, experience with interfacing systems (Glass, Sealing, BIW Body structure), and material and joining knowledge.

  • Advanced problem-solving skills and high technical aptitude with a demonstrated history in successfully leading cross functional teams.

  • Natural ability to build productive relationships, achieve cooperation, and influence priorities of technical experts and other key partners.

  • Ability to manage/resolve urgent production quality and launch concerns.

This position is a salary grade** LL6**.

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$218,100.
