This role is responsible for the strategic and compliant management of Education Grants, Fellowships, Donations and Fee-for-Service payments within the Surgery business unit, ensuring financial management aligns with organizational objectives and enhancing educational initiatives in the ANZ region. It involves managing external stakeholders, processing payments, and analyzing financial data.

What you'd actually do

  1. Strategic Leadership: a key strategic partner, acting as the central point of contact for external stakeholders including customers and educational leaders, and consulting with Education Leads and Professional Education Managers ensuring processes ranging from grant applications to invoicing are executed efficiently and in alignment with organisational strategy
  2. Compliance & Accuracy: prioritising rigorous documentation, tracking, and reporting, ensuring all operations meet compliance requirements, whilst also identifying and rectifying discrepancies in financial and budget reports
  3. Timely Execution of Deliverables: in collaboration with Professional Education Managers, swiftly processing payments and adhering to contractual obligations, contributing to the seamless execution of Professional Education events
  4. Enhancing Efficiency: actively contributing to the optimisation of business strategies, systems, and processes, and facilitating effective communication and knowledge dissemination to stakeholders to improve operational efficiencies
  5. Analytical Insight: analysing financial data and educational outcomes to empower decision-making processes and drive continuous improvement
