This role is for a Program and Planning Scheduling Analyst at Northrop Grumman, focusing on managing and analyzing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for multiple programs. The analyst will be responsible for schedule development, resource work analysis, cost analysis, and reporting, adhering to industry best practices like DCMA 14-point, IPMR DI-MGMT-81861, EVMS, Critical Path Analysis, and Schedule Risk Analysis. The role requires proficiency in scheduling software and requires an active Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prepare, develop, and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives and ensure program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated.
  2. Implements scheduling best practices as prescribed by industry to include, but not limited to: - DCMA 14-point - IPMR DI-MGMT-81861 - Earned Value Management System (EVMS) - Critical Path Analysis - Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) - Schedule Performance and Health Metrics and Analysis
  3. Provides weekly status and reporting
  4. Conducts Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling OR Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling.
  • Experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Software scheduling software.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and scheduling software such as: (i.e., MS Project 2016, Open Plan, PS3, Primavera P6, Milestone Professional, Deltek and SSI Tools).
  • Full understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and ability to support implementation on programs with varying contract types.
  • Requires an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.

Nice to have

  • Proficient in Primavera P6.
  • Experience with resource loading Schedules.
  • Experience with Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA).
