Program and Planning Scheduling Analyst - Level 3 or 4

This role is for a Program and Planning Scheduling Analyst at Northrop Grumman, responsible for preparing, developing, and coordinating the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for multiple programs. The analyst will implement scheduling best practices, conduct schedule analysis, provide status reporting, and interface with various teams and leadership. Experience with scheduling software and Earned Value Management (EVM) is required, along with the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prepare, develop, and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives and ensure program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated.
  2. Implements scheduling best practices as prescribed by industry to include, but not limited to:
  3. Provides weekly status and reporting
  4. Conduct Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits
  5. Other duties as assigned.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling (Level 3) OR Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling (Level 4)
  • Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling (Level 3) OR Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling (Level 4)
  • Additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) scheduling software
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and scheduling software such as: (i.e., MS Project, Open Plan, PS3, Primavera P6, Kidasa Milestones Professional, Deltek and SSI Tools)
  • Full understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and ability to implement on programs with varying contract types
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance
