Program Chief Engineer, Ew

Anduril Anduril · Defense · Costa Mesa, CA · Mission Systems : Electromagnetic Warfare Engineering : EW Architecture

This role is for a Chief Program Engineer at Anduril, a defense technology company. The engineer will lead the technical execution for RF, RADAR, and EW product lines, bridging program management and technical details. They will guide a multidisciplinary team in designing, testing, and deploying next-generation capabilities, ensuring integration with the company's AI-powered operating system, Lattice OS. The role requires experience in Electronic Warfare systems, leading engineering teams, and managing technical milestones. While the company utilizes AI and mentions AI-powered systems, this specific role focuses on the engineering leadership of RF/RADAR/EW systems, not the direct development or research of AI/ML models themselves.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the chief engineer and technical authority, direct the design and implementation of system, sub-system, advanced algorithms and techniques for RWR/ECM systems within the program scope.
  2. Coordinate across engineering disciplines to ensure the system requirements and design are properly and thoroughly defined, captured. and executed
  3. Collaborate closely with the Portfolio Chief Engineer/Architect to align product architecture, program deliverables with the broader technology roadmap, drive engineering standardization, and optimize shared technical resources.
