This role supports Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Sector programs by managing program costs and schedules in compliance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements. Responsibilities include setting up cost control systems, monitoring and controlling costs and schedules, maintaining EVMS compliance, performing analyses, preparing reports, managing spend plans and EACs, and assisting Control Account Managers (CAMs) with EVMS activities. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project management software is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Set up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on Contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
  2. Maintain Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliance including cost/schedule integration
  3. Perform analyses and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
  4. Prepare and maintain spend plans; develop and review Estimates at Complete (EACs); incorporate changes into the EVMS system to maintain cost and schedule baselines
  5. Financial CDRL deliverables

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant, professional experience, or Master’s degree of relevant, professional experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Nice to have

  • Proficiency of the following systems or software: COBRA or similar project management software, COGNOS (SPFP - Planning Analytics), SAP Management Project Systems Module and Business Warehouse (BW)
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
