Program Cost Control Analyst for Northrop Grumman's Space Sector, responsible for preparing budgets, schedules, and financial analyses for contract work, ensuring adequate funding, and performing Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks. What you'd actually do

  1. Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
  2. Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support
  3. Perform analysis and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
  4. Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of professional experience OR Master's degree with 0 years of professional experience (Level 2)
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience OR Master's degree with 3 years of professional experience (Level 3)
  • Additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
  • Experience with financial analysis or reporting
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
