This role is for a Program Cost, Schedule, and Control Analyst at Northrop Grumman, supporting a defense program. The analyst will manage and monitor contract costs using Earned Value Management (EVM), perform financial analysis, prepare budgets, and ensure funding availability. Responsibilities include setting up cost control systems, guiding Control Account Managers (CAMs) on EVMS activities, and maintaining cost/schedule baselines. The role requires strong Excel skills and a Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Sets up the cost control system and monitors and controls costs on contracts requiring Earned Value Management (EVMS)
  2. Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
  3. Prepares budgets for contract work and performs or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
  4. Prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
  5. Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
