Program Director to lead a team of 50+ individuals in the Autonomy directorate within Research and Advanced Design. Responsibilities include overseeing contracts for Flight Autonomy, Mission Autonomy, and Science & Technology innovation, aligning solutions with Government Reference Architectures, managing Non-Contract Technical Activity, and representing the sector in pursuits requiring the latest in flight control technology, GN&C, VMS, and AI. The role involves developing and delivering briefings, collaborating with chief architects, and identifying operational and system capabilities for warfighting mission effects. Requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence across the chain of command and engage at senior government and corporate levels.

What you'd actually do

  1. Positively lead, inspire, and motivate a diverse team across multiple contracts
  2. Execution of growing P&L portfolio with expectations to capture workshare with aligned to government expenditures in Autonomy
  3. Identify and respond to RFIs, RFPs, and FOPRs related to Autonomy
  4. Briefings to customers at the flag officer level and NG executive leadership
  5. Drive horizontal integration of Autonomy technologies and architectures across the sector into Future Franchise Programs and Priority Captures

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience
