Program Director for Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) at Northrop Grumman, managing all phases of programs from inception to completion, focusing on cost, schedule, and technical performance. Requires extensive knowledge of software development and hardware design, build, and integration, with a strong emphasis on leadership and customer relations. Must hold an active Top Secret clearance and be able to obtain SAP clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manages all phases of programs from inception through completion.
  2. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
  3. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  4. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas.
  5. Provide leadership of a multidisciplinary team to accomplish the SOW tasks within the program schedule and budget constraints.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience (or BS in STEM and 9 years) OR Master's degree and 8 years (or MS in STEM and 7 years)
  • Related experience includes project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management
  • 5 years of formal Leadership Experience in a People Leadership Manager Role
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

Nice to have

  • Experience managing revenue, profit and cash performance of programs.
  • Experience leading in team environment, teach/mentor others to manage in same way.
  • Experience leading a proposal or capture efforts
  • 10+ years’ experience with capture, design, development, EMD, low-rate initial production and full rate production.
  • Ability to resolve conflict and negotiate with positive outcome while maintaining good relationships with customers.
