This role is a Production Analyst within AMD's Data Center business unit, focusing on end-to-end product life cycle management through BOM releases in an agile PLM system. The role involves close engagement with board engineering teams, managing configuration tracking, data metrics, and dashboard creation for BOM component maturity. It also requires interfacing with change management tools, leading standups, and using AI for automation use cases and defining agents. The person will train peer teams on BOM control tools and FRU binary generation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work as an individual contributor to track the product hardware design build configurations
  2. Develop and maintain accurate BOMs, ensuring they reflect the latest engineering changes and product specifications
  3. Create BOM change requests and track them to closure
  4. Perform BOM reviews working closely with the board engineers, power engineers, layout, and thermal/mechanical teams prior to implementation
  5. Assist in resolving BOM-related issues during manufacturing/production
