Program Manager for Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector, responsible for delivering contractual requirements on cost and schedule, managing the full program life cycle, leading cross-functional teams, and overseeing cost, schedule, and technical performance. Requires experience in project/program management, engineering, or business management, with a focus on managing tasks within budget and schedule.

What you'd actually do

  1. Maintaining effective customer relationships to develop further opportunities within the customer community.
  2. Support developing new business opportunities through long term strategic planning, capture planning, and development of proposals and business plans.
  3. Maintaining a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements and incorporates the necessary internal and external sub-organizations.
  4. Leading and directing cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives.
  5. Measuring and reporting critical program performance metrics.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience (or BS in STEM and 5 years), OR Master's degree and 4 years (or MS in STEM and 3 years)
  • Professional and/or military experience in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management
  • 5 years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either a project lead, integrated program team lead
  • Secret clearance
