Program Manager role supporting the development, integration, test, and deployment of Ground Segment for National Space Assets. Responsibilities include managing schedule, budgets, EVMS, and work direction for multiple efforts within the Ground Segment portfolio, ensuring delivery of contractual requirements on cost and schedule while achieving technical requirements and fostering customer intimacy. The role involves leading cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPTs) and managing all phases of the program life cycle.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leading and directing cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives.
  2. Measuring and reporting program performance.
  3. Delivering presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders .
  4. Participating in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions.
  5. Establishing design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years, or Master's and 3 years’ experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries.
  • 3 years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager
