Program Manager for Amazon's JP Events and Deals team, focusing on defining event objectives, driving strategic programs, and improving operational efficiency. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, analyzing performance data, and building event playbooks. While the company utilizes AI/GenAI tools to enhance operations and decision-making, this role is not directly involved in building or shipping AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define core event objectives and support execution of strategic programs and operations.
  2. Collaborate with a team of diverse stakeholders (Operations, Delivery Experience, Finance) to define experimentation roadmap and comprehensive list of key input metrics to achieve event goals
  3. Analyze performance data, customer metrics, and financial impact to inform event strategy and cross-functional planning.
  4. Build and maintain event playbooks, SOPs, and retrospective mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.
  5. Identify areas of risk to the project scope or timeline and escalate to program leadership in a timely manner.

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze large sets of data
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

Nice to have

  • Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
