Program Manager 2 for Cyber Mission at Northrop Grumman, responsible for managing cost, schedule, and technical performance of programs supporting NASIC, NSIC, ONI, and AFRL. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of experience, and a Top Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
  2. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract.
  3. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  4. Develop new business or expand the product line offering with the customer.
  5. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems, and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years of engineering and/or program management experience
  • Experience supporting the Department of War Cyber Mission
  • Experience in business development and capture strategies
  • Ability to effectively work across multiple organizations
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple and changing priorities
  • Experience with executive communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of software and embedded software development within an Agile Environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking and logical reasoning skills
  • Previous experience in program or large project management
  • Demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations
  • Experience of commitment to meet customer needs
  • Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements
  • Ability to apply knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts
  • Experience making definitive decisions, developing and tracking actions, performing risk management and tracking performance
  • US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance
  • Ability to travel
