Program Manager for Lab Standup (design, procurement, fabrication, integration, and operations) at Northrop Grumman. What you'd actually do

  1. Leading and directing cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule, technical performance and quality objectives
  2. Cultivating customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer community
  3. Establishing a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements and incorporates the necessary internal and external sub-organizations
  4. Measuring and reporting program performance
  5. Delivering presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders

Skills

Required

  • Bachelors degree and 10 years of related experience or BS in STEM and 9 years
  • Master’s degree and 8 years of related experience or MS in STEM and 7 years
  • Project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management
  • Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance
  • Experience using program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management
  • Demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships
  • Demonstrated collaboration, communication, and team building skills
  • 3 years’ experience in Project Management or Program Management related role
  • Prior CAM experience

Nice to have

  • Final adjudicated U.S. government Top Secret security clearance
  • Experience supporting proposal development and/or estimate for future work scope
  • Experience managing program/projects of > $20 Million
  • Strong problem-solving and organization skills in both independent and team environments
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight
  • Demonstrated Lab Standup (design, procurement, fabrication, integration, and operations) experience leading cross-functional teams of 5 or more individuals to achieve defined project or organizational objectives, including responsibility for task coordination, performance tracking, and issue resolution
