Program Manager

AMD AMD · Semiconductors · Gdansk, Poland · General Management/ Administration/ Support

Program Manager for AMD's Software Ecosystem Enablement team, focusing on graphics and AI-accelerated software. The role drives the development of research-driven, real-time, performance-sensitive software and leading-edge technologies including machine learning research. Responsibilities include defining roadmaps, end-to-end program planning and execution from research to product release, tracking execution, risks, and dependencies, and ensuring ecosystem readiness. The role requires technical fluency to engage with engineers and researchers, understanding of AI/ML techniques, and the ability to use AI tools for execution.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and align software development roadmaps with silicon milestones (tape-out, bring-up, validation, launch)
  2. Drive end‑to‑end planning and execution of complex software programs, from early research exploration through productized release
  3. Track execution, risks, dependencies, and trade‑offs (performance, schedule, quality) and communicate clearly to stakeholders and leadership
  4. Identify and mitigate integration bottlenecks late in development, drive closure of critical issues ahead of release gates
  5. Help ensure ecosystem readiness at launch, including ISV enablement, documentation, and integration considerations
