Program Manager

Oversees programs and projects specific to corporate change initiatives that impact how the bank does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Responsibilities include defining program controls, monitoring execution, analyzing risks, and managing stakeholders to ensure results align with program strategy, simplification, and new capabilities, while adhering to regulatory requirements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Defines program controls, processes, procedures, reporting cadence, decision governance structures, and ways of working with key stakeholders
  2. Works closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new change initiatives
  3. Monitors the execution of defined tasks through tracking of program milestones and their statuses, developing program plans, and measuring progress against ongoing key performance indicators
  4. Analyzes, evaluates, and overcomes program risks, and produces program reports for managers and stakeholders
  5. Identifies key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors to perform in alignment with the program objectives

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of project management experience
  • Knowledge of structured project management methods
  • Knowledge of Bank's Enterprise Change Policy & Standards
  • Track record of delivering programs to plan and on budget
  • Ability to assess an ill-defined problem and propose the tasks & deliverables that will be necessary to achieve the desired outcome
  • Ability to manage and communicate with stakeholders at different levels
  • Proficient with MS products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
  • Experience operating and leading in a matrix management org structure
