What you'd actually do

  1. Identify operational issues in the transportation network and autonomously conduct problem-solving based on data and structured approaches.
  2. Utilize Continuous Improvement methodologies to plan, execute, and verify projects that contribute to cost reduction, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement with ownership.
  3. Establish consistency and reproducibility of operations by developing and standardizing various Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  4. Drive the adoption and deployment of standardized processes to the field through Change Management.
  5. Improve overall operational quality by localizing and deploying global best practices.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level
  • SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Japanese and English proficiency in reading, writing, and conversation

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
