A key part of this effort is Dojo, Tesla's custom supercomputer system built to efficiently train massive neural networks on vast video data from the fleet. By creating custom silicon and optimized architectures, the team ensures Tesla remains a leader in AI-driven automotive and energy solutions, shaping a future where intelligent machines enhance human life.
The Technical Program Manager plays a pivotal role in Tesla's AI Hardware silicon engineering development team. In this role, you will oversee interactions between the silicon development team and cross-functional partners, including vendors, supply chain, legal, finance, and HR teams.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate smooth operations for the silicon design team by identifying roadblocks and supporting seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams (vendors, supply chain, legal, finance, and HR) to resolve issues efficiently
- Clearly document workflows, create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensure operational processes are well-communicated and consistently followed across the organization
- Apply product lifecycle principles to operational planning, aligning resources effectively with each stage of the cycle to drive project success
- Independently manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting key objectives and deadlines while maintaining high standards of execution
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in product or program management, operations, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on process improvement and operational efficiency
- Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to achieve program objectives
- Familiarity with silicon development is needed
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex information and make informed, data-driven decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and the clear articulation of technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Expected Compensation
$128,000 - $414,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
