This role is for a Program Manager within Visa's CEMEA Business Planning & Operations team. The primary focus is on managing and driving the execution of key business-led and strategic initiatives across multiple geographies and markets. The role requires strong project management skills, business judgment, and the ability to navigate a complex, matrixed organization. Projects are business-focused rather than technical, with evolving objectives. Key responsibilities include end-to-end delivery, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and driving execution discipline.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage end‑to‑end delivery of business and strategic projects, ensuring defined outcomes are delivered on time and with appropriate stakeholder alignment
  2. Deliver initiatives that span multiple geographies and markets across CEMEA (Central Europe, Middle East and Africa), working effectively with stakeholders and teams based in different locations and time zones
  3. Ensure project outcomes are clearly linked to relevant business priorities and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs), supporting alignment, focus, and measurable impact
  4. Translate agreed objectives into clear project plans, milestones, dependencies, and governance structures
  5. Work closely with business stakeholders to clarify scope, manage expectations, and enable informed decision‑making throughout delivery

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Demonstrated experience delivering business initiatives or transformation projects in a corporate or consulting environment
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders across functions and geographies
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in dynamic, changing environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in standard productivity and collaboration tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

Nice to have

  • formal certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) advantageous but not essential
