Program Manager, Commercial

This role is for a Program Manager on the Commercial Business Operations team, responsible for driving the execution of initiatives and evergreen programs within PitchBook's Commercial organization. The role involves program planning, milestone tracking, stakeholder reporting, and managing the knowledge infrastructure to ensure alignment and information flow. It also includes supporting the evaluation and adoption of tools and technologies that enhance program delivery.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own end-to-end program management for Commercial initiatives and evergreen programs, including scoping, planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and reporting
  2. Build and maintain program dashboards and tracking systems, providing regular status updates to Commercial stakeholders
  3. Identify and proactively manage risks, blockers, and scope changes across programs
  4. Facilitate cross-functional meetings and working sessions, driving clear actions and outcomes
  5. Serve as the Commercial workstream lead within company-wide programs and strategic initiatives

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of professional work experience, including 2+ years in program management
  • Ability to build and maintain program dashboards, tracking systems, and status reporting frameworks
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across teams
  • Operate with a strong sense of urgency and deliver results
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear status updates, executive-ready documentation, and program materials for diverse audiences

Nice to have

  • Experience owning knowledge management or resource centralization initiatives (intranet sites, decision logs, or similar) is preferred
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
