Program Manager - Junior role supporting DoD and federal defense customers, managing projects or project components, overseeing day-to-day execution, and supporting the delivery of program objectives within a structured, mission-driven government environment. Requires experience in managing DoD projects and programs, familiarity with defense organizations, and the ability to obtain a government security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for managing projects or aspects of projects
  2. Providing guidance for specific tasks/subtasks
  3. Manages day-to-day activities and reviews work products for completeness and adherence to customer requirements & standards
  4. Provides supervision of multiple complex projects and principal liaison responsibilities with client on all business, technical and cost matters for task project planning, scheduling and implementation
  5. Directs completion of projects within estimated time frames and budget constraints.

Skills

Required

  • 1- 4 years of experience in managing and directing DoD projects and programs related to logistics initiatives and/or technology development/integration.
  • Prior experience supporting USMC, DoD, or other federal defense organizations
  • Familiarity with Marine Corps organizational structures, operational processes, or logistics/IT environments
  • Experience briefing or supporting senior government or military leadership
  • Understanding of federal acquisition, compliance, or operational frameworks
  • Ability to operate effectively in a structured, mission‑driven, and customer‑facing government setting
  • Experience supporting programs with defined task orders, performance metrics, and delivery timelines
  • Ability to comply with all federal government contracting, suitability, and security requirements
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with military, civilian, and contractor personnel
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
