This role is for a Programmatic Account Manager at The Trade Desk, a global technology company in digital advertising. The role focuses on managing and growing key agency accounts, providing strategic recommendations, data-driven insights, and exceptional client service. Responsibilities include onboarding new customers, identifying growth opportunities, becoming an expert on the platform, providing client training, and collaborating with Product Management on feature enhancements. The ideal candidate has experience in online advertising, preferably within a DSP, and possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage and grow a roster of key Agency Accounts by building strong client relationships, providing strategic recommendations and exceptional client service.
  2. Collaborate with the Trading team to rapidly onboard new customers and provide data driven insights to clients.
  3. Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify ways to grow current accounts.
  4. Become an expert on the use and best practices on The Trade Desk platform and offer insights to clients on how to improve campaigns and meet KPIs.
  5. Provide continual training to clients as new features are added to The Trade Desk.

Skills

Required

  • 2 + years of consultative, client-facing work with online advertising experience preferred
  • 1+ years of experience working within a DSP (TTD platform experience strongly preferred).
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Proven track record of growing accounts by forging a strong relationship with clients, understanding their objectives and recommending best strategies.
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) and confidence speaking to large groups.
  • Solid experience in Excel and MS Office and ability to use large data sets to build insights and strategy recommendations.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and internal stakeholders as well as work independently on daily tasks.
