SoFi is seeking an analytical Programmatic Buyer/Trader to execute and optimize programmatic campaigns, focusing on CTV/OTT, digital video, and audio streaming. The role involves campaign execution, data and audience strategy, ad operations, and reporting, requiring expertise in DSPs and ad serving platforms like CM360. The candidate will analyze data to drive performance and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the end to end execution of programmatic campaigns across multiple channel types (CTV/OTT, Digital Video, Audio Streaming) ensuring campaigns deliver in full and hit aggressive performance KPIs (e.g., CPA, ROAS, VCR).
  2. Own the negotiation, setup, and performance monitoring of sophisticated programmatic deals (PMPs, Preferred Deals, Guaranteed) to secure premium inventory and unique audiences at favorable rates.
  3. Drive strategy around audience application and testing.
  4. Manage trafficking and ad serving functions, including extensive hands on experience with Campaign Manager 360 (CM360).
  5. Partner closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Media strategy, Analytics, Product) to align trading strategies with broader business objectives and ensure cohesive execution.

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of hands-on programmatic trading experience
  • Proven track record in constructing and executing successful programmatic video campaigns
  • Deep working knowledge and demonstrable experience leveraging multiple Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) (e.g., Yahoo, Amazon, DV360, The Trade Desk)
  • Strong working knowledge of ad serving platforms, specifically Campaign Manager 360 (CM360), including competence in tag generation, trafficking, and reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and campaign reporting
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Solid understanding of ad operations processes, encompassing tag building, implementation, troubleshooting, and media verification vendor management
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Solutions-based mindset, demonstrating the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues
  • Effective communicator with a proven ability to present key learnings and insights to non-technical stakeholders
