Programmatic Trading Specialist

This role is for a Programmatic Trading Specialist at The Trade Desk, a digital advertising technology company. The specialist will collaborate with Account Management and Business Development to provide strategic recommendations, troubleshoot campaign issues, analyze data using tools like Excel and Tableau, and consult with clients on platform best practices. The role requires 2+ years of client-facing experience in ad tech, digital marketing, or finance, strong quantitative and communication skills, and the ability to manage client relationships and campaign performance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with both Account Managers and Business Development colleagues to help drive performance and account growth
  2. Troubleshoot campaign setup and performance issues across multiple channels including Display, Online Video, and Connected TV
  3. Provide feedback to Product Managers to ideate on platform and product improvements
  4. Utilize excel and other advanced analytics tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, to analyze large sets of data and create actionable insights
  5. Be comfortable presenting data and insights to client stakeholders

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of consultative, client-facing work within ad tech, digital marketing, finance or other data-heavy, industries.
  • Comfortable with client management and day to day communication
  • Strong ability to communicate complex topics to agency and brand direct stakeholders
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize client asks as well as long term projects
  • Strong quantitative skills using tools such as MS Excel, Vertica and Power BI
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and internal stakeholders as well as work independently on daily tasks
