Northrop Grumman is seeking a Programs Director to lead a classified portfolio of programs with P&L responsibilities. The role involves building partnerships, managing program execution (cost, schedule, technical performance), resource allocation, employee engagement, customer relationship cultivation, business strategy development, and contract negotiation. Requires a Bachelor's degree, P&L experience, proposal/capture leadership, experience leading US Government programs, and an active Secret clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Builds and leverages a strong partnership with cross-functional teams to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives in a matrix organizational environment
  2. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, risk/opportunity management, identifies and resolves complex program problems
  3. Identifying, allocating and managing program resources, including workforce planning
  4. Cultivates positive employee experience in a high-pressure environment by focusing on engagement, recognition, retention initiatives and professional development
  5. Demonstrates strong communication skills to deliver executive briefings internally and externally to customers, leaders and other program stakeholders
