This role is for a Project Alliances Manager at Okta, focusing on managing partner-related projects to ensure they are operationally ready to sell and implement Okta's solutions, particularly in the context of AI. The role translates regional strategies into actionable plans, enablement programs, and pipeline-driving activities, coordinating with internal teams and partners.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the end-to-end management of alliance projects, including partner onboarding, joint business plan tracking, and co-marketing execution.
  2. Coordinate with Okta’s global enablement teams to roll out technical and sales training projects specifically for the India partner ecosystem.
  3. Maintain the hygiene of the partner pipeline within Salesforce; ensure all partner-sourced deals are accurately tracked and attributed.
  4. Act as the project lead between Partners and Okta’s internal Marketing, Sales, and Solutions Engineering teams to ensure joint "Go-to-Market" (GTM) activities are delivered on schedule.
  5. Serve as the primary point of contact for project-level inquiries from partners, resolving operational bottlenecks to keep Okta "front and center."

Skills

Required

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Partner Management, Channel Operations, or Project Management within the SaaS or Cyber-security industry.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) and project management methodologies is essential.
  • A foundational understanding of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) landscape or broader Cloud Security ecosystem.
  • A track record of moving projects from "concept" to "completion" while meeting strict deadlines and revenue-driving KPIs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence partner stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working within the business models of modern Cloud Software Vendors and a deep understanding of the Indian channel landscape (Distributors and Tier-2 partners).
