Project Controls Specialist

This role is for a Project Controls Specialist in Supply Chain Engineering at Johnson & Johnson, focusing on organizing and coordinating project controls for major capital projects within the Vision Care program. Responsibilities include supporting steering meetings, managing capital requirements, assisting with capital funding processes, resource planning, procurement, and financial forecasting. What you'd actually do

  1. Support Capacity Expansion Steering meetings
  2. Coordination of Approved and Unapproved Capital Requirements for Major Capital Projects
  3. Works closely with Project Managers on the required processes for Capital Funding
  4. Capacity Expansion Project Resource Planning support
  5. Procurement activities for major capital projects

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 2 years prior experience in a GMP or medical device manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Proficient in use of MS applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Develop good working relationships across the business.
  • Candidates should have experience in a similar role, strong analytical ability, detailed knowledge of cost controls and budget management, proficient in use of excel applications and good communication.
  • Knowledge and Experience of Procurement Systems
  • Experience in supporting capital investment projects within a manufacturing environment.
  • Thorough knowledge and complete understanding and applications of financial systems supporting the present management lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of financial procedures required for SOX compliance.
