Project Cyber Engineer

This role supports the implementation and delivery of cybersecurity solutions for government clients, focusing on managing dependencies, driving issue resolution, and translating operational needs into engineering priorities. Responsibilities include supporting the design, integration, deployment, and sustainment of enterprise security solutions, analyzing technical requirements, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and documenting security configurations.

What you'd actually do

  1. The Project Engineer is responsible for managing dependencies across stakeholders, driving issue resolution, and helping translate operational needs into actionable engineering priorities.
  2. Support the design, integration, deployment, and sustainment of enterprise security solutions
  3. Analyze technical requirements and align security activities to project objectives and client needs
  4. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support implementation milestones, issue resolution, and delivery timelines
  5. Document security configurations, findings, and remediation activities across assigned workstreams

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s and 3 years of professional experience
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or SCI eligibility
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
  • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships

  • Relevant certifications including CISSP, Network+, Security+ , or CEH
