What you'd actually do

  1. Fully understand the project statement of work including safety and certification requirements
  2. Facilitates Technical Design Reviews to help drive resolution to complex technical issues
  3. Provides engineering and integration leadership to teams across multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external stakeholders and customers
  4. Performs as Project Technical Leader guiding the integrated product team (IPT)
  5. Develops the integrated project plans, project schedule, statement of work, and certification strategy to support the research and development, ongoing and new business requirements

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5+ years’ experience in leading teams or projects
  • 5+ years’ experience supporting cross functional teams
  • Aircraft Interior commodity experience

Nice to have

  • 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years' experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Technical Lead on Aerospace Design Vehicles
  • Previous experience working in an aircraft modification environment or with Supplemental Type Certifications (STC)
  • Has good understanding of CFR Title 14 FAA Part 25 regulations
  • Experience working with external suppliers
  • Ability to travel domestic & international up to 10% of the time
