This role involves developing and delivering static/rotating asset fault models and predictive maintenance solutions for industrial customers, primarily in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors. The engineer will act as a Configuration/Monitoring engineer, design FMEA blueprints, and develop models using Machine Learning, Prediction, Fault Tree Analysis, and Root-Cause Failure Analysis to identify and prevent asset failures. The role also includes evaluating the benefits of these solutions and defining methodologies to measure customer KPIs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for providing support to project team / SME for end-to-end design & delivery of static/rotating asset fault models & predictive maintenance solutions for Refinery, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other customers.
  2. Act as a Configuration/Monitoring engineer for various projects and should be able to deliver expected plan task in project and in asset monitoring.
  3. Support to Design the FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis) blueprints including recommendation and action plan based on available site instrumentation.
  4. Conduct FMEA blueprint workshop with Client SME’s and lead the discussion for blueprint finalization with Honeywell SME.
  5. Develop models/logic to identify repetitive failures and other problems that adversely affect asset/plant operations using various techniques such as Machine Learning, Prediction, Fault tree analysis, Root-Cause Failure Analysis etc.

Skills

Required

  • In depth understanding of rotary assets such as centrifugal/reciprocating/screw Compressor, Pump, Gear box, Gas Turbine, Steam turbine, Blower, Motor, Turboexpander etc.
  • Experience in vibration spectrum analysis, oil analysis, motor current signature analysis etc.
  • Strong understanding of typical rotary/static asset failure pattern, root cause and recommendation to prevent the same
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting & and problem-solving skills, quality oriented, logical & thorough.

Nice to have

  • Experience in rotary asset operation, performance, reliability monitoring, condition monitoring, maintenance practices, root cause failure analysis, RCM techniques
  • Good to have previous experience in any third party APM applications.
