What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and maintain cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for projects or product lines.
  2. Align cost plans with business objectives, market conditions, and strategic initiatives.
  3. Monitor actual expenditures against budgets; identify variances and root causes.
  4. Prepare regular cost reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  5. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of professional or military experience in Project Management OR Master’s degree in a related field
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite
  • Experience with Earned Value Management
  • Active secret US Government clearance

  • Northrop Grumman CAM certification
  • Understanding of Agile Methodologies
  • 2+ years’ experience – general business environment with preference in project management, program integration, and/or administrative support

  • An additional 4 + years of military experience in a Project Management capacity
