Project Manager - Tax Transformation

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive the planning, delivery, governance, and reporting of key technology projects supporting Deloitte’s tax strategy.
  2. Coordinate with PMO and business stakeholders, ensuring consistent practices, transparent communications, and successful execution.
  3. Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  4. Facilitate project meetings, including status updates, risk assessments, and decision-making sessions.
  5. Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk logs.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years’ project management experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PMO methodology, meeting facilitation, and conflict resolution
  • Proven hands-on experience with cloud platforms and cybersecurity
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

Nice to have

  • Experience within the tax, finance, or professional services sectors
  • Proven track record of supporting or leading technology or transformation projects
  • Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and best practices
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting tax technology (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
  • Effective communicator and facilitator with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Exposure to emerging technologies such as cloud, data analytics, or cybersecurity
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
